What would you do? What would you do?

The question asked by lotteries the World over – What would you do?

Have you ever thought about it %%First Name%%? Really taken the time to go through the exercise of what you would do if you won a lottery. It’s an interesting exercise. The usual answers are: pay off the mortgage, buy a new car, go on holiday or quit my job.

Those are just the superficial ones though. The answers that are easy to rattle off and require as much thought as breathing. That is, no thought at all.

Lottery Winner

Here’s an exercise for you. Sit down with a pen and paper and start writing all the things you would do if you won the lottery. Write out all things that come to mind. No matter how silly they might seem just put them down and keep writing.

Keep writing and you will start to get to the things that really matter to you. Things that are real. Things that mean a lot to you. Things you might have put off.

Keep writing. Once you have run out of ideas pause and write some more. When you can’t think of anything else google 100 things to do before you die and get some more ideas.

You should have heaps of things you could do now. Things you didn’t even know you wanted to do. Things that would scare the heck out of you and take you far beyond your current comfort zone. Now that’s a list right?

Now read through the list quickly. Then again and this time cross out the superficial stuff, the really silly stuff, and leave in the stuff that scares you or that you have put off. Right, now you have an awesome list of what you would do if you won the lottery.

Or you have a list of what you could be doing with your life now. Things that are important to you.

So, my question to you today is: what’s stopping you doing some of these things today, tomorrow, this month or this year? Put the list somewhere you can see it and decide to do one or two of the things on the list every year. You won’t need to win the lottery to do them and you will have done what few people do – think about and plan your life.

Have a great day.
