I love Apple, you should too because they have a great “Why”.

Apple’s “Core Purpose” or “Why” is: Everything we do, we believe in challenging the status quo, we believe in thinking differently.

Lately I have been trying to get to the “Why” of my business. The Core Purpose that allows me to be just as passionate and enthusiastic about it now as I was when I started email marketing in mid 2001. Apples “Why” is powerful and it means they can create an advert like this Here’s to the Crazy Ones.

Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is 150,000 jobs in 2020. That’s a lot of emails, websites, videos and other campaigns. It will require a lot of people to pull it off – let me know if you can help. But you know what we probably crazy enough to pull it off.

We are doing what we think is our best work because for all of us this is it. We’re not looking for the next thing and bidding our time at Spikemail just paying the bills. This is it.

Find your “Why” by asking yourself why you come to work each day or why you like doing something. Find your “Why” and do your best work because this is it. Are you with me?
