Example: Food in a Minute – 20 Sunbeam toasters must be won #email

Excellent example of how to introduce a new product and competition.

Why it works

- Personalised
- On topic for what I signed up for
- Adding value to my subscription to the Food in a Minute list
– Sent from the same email address
– Sent from the same person

Not only is Lisa telling me a new way to eat my baked beans and spaghetti with a free recipe and a Watties product I get to go into a draw. Doing that might update my details as well in a subtle way.

This also works because even though it is a Watties ad it is not to far removed from the usual recipe email I receive.
